Internship at Ras al Khaimah International Airport for Students & Graduates in UAE

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is devoted to teaching and developing the next generation of workers. Their internship program offers Emirati students and graduates valuable learning opportunities in a professional setting. Internships can help graduate students strengthen their professional skills. They give essential experience to graduate students and can benefit them in a variety of ways. An internship allows you to obtain relevant experience and receive a realistic view of what it’s like to work in a specific area.
The internship program is available to UAE nationals.

Student Internship Program

Student internships are three to six-month training programs that provide students with fundamental knowledge and experience in their academic fields. The internship may be required by the university or for graduation.

Conditions for applying for Student Internship:

• Request letter from the University.
• Must be enrolled in a college/ University program.
• Applicants should have a minimum Grand Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 GPA from an accredited
  higher education institute in the UAE. They must be able to commit to the full internship period.

Graduate Internship Program

Graduate internship programs can last from six months to a year and are full-time, unpaid/paid on-the-job training programs that provide extensive exposure to the airport and aviation industries. We are searching for graduates to work in a variety of areas, including IT, procurement, finance, human resources, electronics, projects and engineering, electromechanical, commercial, ground handling, operations, safety, security, quality assurance, and cargo. The project intends to groom learners by offering on-the-job training to obtain practical skills needed for their future employment.

The eligibility criteria for this program are as below :

• Age group between 18-30
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree holder from an accredited university/college.
• Fluency in verbal and written English
• Who are willing to learn and who can adapt to new working situations.

Performance Evaluation

The Intern’s performance is monitored throughout the internship programs by the section managers through written reports and presentations, ability to perform as an individual and a team member. After the internship period, the Intern will be evaluated by the section managers/supervisors and HR. Interns with high competence and outstanding performance will be considered for placement opportunities with RAK Airport.
