AirSial Refused Passengers On Medina Special Ferry Flight
AirSial refused to give boarding cards to almost 40 passengers at the check-in counters on their Medina flight. On 28 June 2025, AirSial operates its special ferry flight with flight number PF7730 from Islamabad to Medina. The flight was operated to bring back Hajjis from Medina. At the time of departure around 55-60 passengers were at the counters, out of which only 10-15 were accepted because they had an Umrah or religious visa rest were refused and left standing at the Islamabad international airport.
AirSial refused almost 40 passengers as they were having a visa other than an Umrah visa. As it was a ferry flight so any kind of commercial activity wasn’t allowed other than medical or religious reasons. The passenger also bought tickets through a third party or online and hasn’t consulted with the customer care for the policy, as it was an unusual flight. Rules for conducting special ferry flights are written in the Air Navigational Order by the CAA, and AirSial has conducted its ferry flight as per the rules and regulations.
AirSial Hajj Flights
AirSial successfully conducted Hajj flights in 2024 and 2025 using their Airbus A320 aircraft
- On May 24, 2024, AirSial flight PF760 from Sialkot to Medina with Hajj pilgrims onboard.
- In 2025, AirSial flight PFC7700 operated from Lahore to Medina, transporting 150 Hajj pilgrims.
Hajj flights were also operated from Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore stations with a total quota of 3.500 pilgrims. Moreover, AirSial also provide a meal box, a bottle of water and a small bag to all the hajjis. This quota was allocated by the Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs, in which PIA and Saudi Arabian Airlines will each transport over 35,000 pilgrims, while Serene Air will accommodate 7,000, Airblue 7,380, and AirSial 3,500 pilgrims.
The saudi Govt for the ease of Hajjis set immigration counters at the departure airport where immigration for hajjs were performed as soon as they pass the FIA immigration cell.
